OPERATIONS

Panafric has a seasoned team of experts ranging from marine engineers to port captains who oversee maintenance and repairs, provide shipyard supervision during routine dry-docking, ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, organise screening inspections, and arrange or perform internal / external audits. Whether it is a routine dry-docking or a major re-fit / refurbishment involving meticulous collaboration between owners, charters, contractors, designers and shipyards, Panafric provides on-time and on-budget delivery. TECHNICAL

Our technical department work with first class suppliers and service providers around the world to provide a full range of skillful vessel management services. Using a combination of internal technical management and external managers, our engineering professionals oversee the careful maintenance and every day running of vessels amongst today’s increasingly complex regulatory parameters, including the International Safety Management Code (ISM), Flag State, Port State control and Classification Society rules.

We provide technical and marine superintendent services for a wide range of vessel types mostly for tanker and offshore supply vessels. Our superintendents also oversee and supervise new building, reconstructions, dry dockings and repair projects with superintendents on-site to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and specifications.

COMMERCIAL

Our commercial department is operated by a highly qualified team of international in-house brokers with extensive experience in all the market sectors in which Panafric is active. Our team analyses the current and upcoming operational requirements in complete collaboration with the shipowners and offers unique solutions that focus on the QHSSE criteria and are cost-effective.

The commercial team handles purchases for its fleets including supply contracting, technical spares, vessel supply logistics and vendor vetting. We have built strong relationships with our suppliers over the years, and we will use this to negotiate the best terms on your behalf. With the application of our economies of scale, we are committed to optimizing profitability and improving service levels.

CREWING

The best ship management services depend on the best crews which is reason we place the highest emphasis on selecting, training and retraining highly qualified seafarers. Working closely with specialist agents and the most advanced training establishments, we attract experienced, enthusiastic and disciplined seamen of all ranks. We require relevant and up-to-date qualifications and experience for each role. We ensure that officers have what it takes to lead and that crew members are able to interpret key orders and understand them. The outcome is a shipboard team that is properly trained and capable of operating with maximum efficiency, security, flexibility and attention to detail.

The crewing and working relations teams is familiar with domestic and international crew requirements. Whether you’re crewing an entire fleet or a single vessel, our comprehensive portfolio of well trained professionals can be tailored to your needs. We will create a tailored recruiting and crew training program to reduce pressure on the owner and to find the right crew for their vessels. Crewing services include; qualification and certification, crew movements, rotations and scheduling, payroll administration and performance evaluations.
